About the Role

  • Develops compelling written content for internal and external audiences, including newsletters, advertising copy, website content, internal memos, and marketing collateral
  • Coordinates the design and production of brochures, banners, invites, tradeshow displays, advertisements, posters, signage, and other collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines
  • Develops and executes internal and external multi-channel marketing strategies and campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Works closely with Sales, Operations, and partner vendors to promote products and services
  • Coordinates events, such as tradeshows, sponsorships, customer events, and golf tournaments, including registration, logistics, supplies, follow-up, inventory monitoring, mailing list coordination, RSVP management, and swag ordering
  • Sources, coordinates, and tracks orders for branded merchandise (swag) and stationery items, such as business cards
  • Compiles and analyzes data related to our target audience, customers, competitors, and industry trends, producing regular audits and reports
  • Liaises with external consultants, such as photographers, writers and promotional product and print suppliers, ensuring projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Tracks the performance of campaigns, events, and initiatives, and recommends improvements
  • Assists in managing marketing budgets and tracking related expenses
  • Works closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to plan and manage the company’s social media presence, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring, and engagement
  • Collaborates with internal stakeholders to curate content for intranet, website, social, email newsletters and other digital channels
  • Assists with website and intranet initiatives, such as design, content strategy, updates, audits, governance, and training
  • Applies SEO best practices to improve online visibility
  • Monitors and analyzes website, social media, and email performance metrics to inform decision-making
  • Stays informed on emerging digital trends, tools, and best practices, and recommends innovative approaches

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive self-starter, customer-service driven and eager to work as a member of a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize, handle competing tasks, and thrive under deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office/M365
  • Works well with minimal supervision.
  • Working knowledge of content management systems (Salesforce, SharePoint), Mailchimp, JotForms, Survey Monkey, Google Analytics, social media channels, and Google Ads.

Who We're Looking For

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a marketing or communications program.
  • 2+ years' experience in a similar role with a focus on marketing and communications.
  • Experience with a wide range of marketing functions, including communications, marketing research, marketing strategy, branding, event coordination, advertising, digital marketing, and social media.

  • Base Pay: $63,000 - $70,000/Yr. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
